how do I go about separating a tailshaft? I have a manual and auto tail shaft and im wanting to put the manual front half on the auto tailshaft and also what is the length of a sedan manual tailshaft if anyone knows?
    Cheers.

Why are you swapping them first off?
When pulling a tail shaft apart you need to mark them to keep it balanced so it doesnt shudder, but this isnt the case with you caus your swapping them. I have no idea how you would keep it balanced, id say you will have to get it professionaly balanced afterwards, or you could strike it lucky and it wont shudder. And theirs normally 12 allan keys bolts you undo, and a circlip. then just put it back together using the other half, pretty straight forward once you start.
