Speed Cameras in POI (no alert)

Hey All,
New-ish member, first post.

I've been reading various threads here and on the US forum about cameras (and lack of in some versions of Nav) are a talking point.

MyLink Nav in my 2017( February build), has cameras shown on the maps (purple coloured camera icon), but they do not generate an audible alert. Is there a way to make certain POI's (cameras) an audible alert?

P.S. Car was a late afternoon pick-up and after an early evening drive, put away for the night with the first 100km on the clock - still in the honeymoon phase and lovin' it!!!

I've since worked it out.

Speed/Red light cameras showing on nav screen and now audible alert prior to reaching the camera is also working.

P.S. More kms on the clock and many more smiles experienced. Luvin' it!!!

I too am very interested to hear!
This is something those of us with VF1's have been very much wanting ... mebbe it needs a new MyLink software version as well as the maps that Holden released last week?

Hey,
I have attached the settings I currently have and the software version in my SS.

I expect it was driver alerts functions that changed things (cameras were unticked by default), but have included all my related Nav/Camera settings changed today just in case. Made a few changes at the same time...

Camera alerts work both with a nav destination set and also with nav on but no destination set. Once changed, seemed to only alert at reaching the actual camera on first run. Second run, it alerted prior, with enough time to adjust driving style if needed (no point chiming when you have reached the camera...). Haven't sense checked the distance between alert and camera, seems reasonable with daily driving style, but have not tried to distance check it yet.

Damn, my VF2 MY16 doesn't have the cameras in there either.... hmmm

I believe Webby_SSVR has the latest map upgrade as mine (MY15) also does not have them also and requires the map upgrade which should hopefully enable this feature

Just checked mine, Feb 2017 build and I have the camera alert.

So if I get the latest map upgrade for my VFII I will get the Camera feature?
