1999 VT series 1.
Had to wash motor for rego, now have squeek in serpintine belt.
I was told it was the pullies so they have been replaced.
Now have begger squeek.
If I put some water on the grooves of the belt it stops squeeking.
Is the belt stuffed or is there something I can stop the squeek with.

VZ GTO. VS LS1.
This is not uncommon after washing the engine bay. Essentially you need to put a little lubrication on the belt. Best thing for this in my opinion is a little silicon spray. You'll likely have to apply it twice on consecutive days and then shouldn't give you any troubles.
Dont use the belt grip pictured above. Its designed to leave a tacky film on the belt and is only meant for 'V' belts, not ribbed serpentine.
Check your belt condition though while you're at it. Shouldn't have any cracks in the ribs or stretched beyond service limit on the tensioner indicator.
Cheers
