Hi there, just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if there was any fab work to be done if putting sv6 motor and six speed into omega, or is it a simple fit and change ecu, wiring harness?
Any help on this situation would be apreciated.
Cheers chris

i wouldnt worry about the motor. for the little extra power its not worth the cost. maybe tweak your motor a little would be better.. in relation to the transmission are u talking about auto or manual..

It is pretty much the same block just bored out less.
If you are that keen I think the max you can stroke it out to is about 4Lt but don't quote me on it.
Though it is a very expensive and fiddly process. $ per kw is pretty bad in these cars as it is.
I'm not sure 10k would put a dent in it at all.
