Tailshaft problems

Hey i have a vc speedway car running an ecotech with a getrag and i keep twisting them do you have to use a 2 piece or can you use a 1 piece ive only use a 2 piece..

upgrade tailshaft one or two peice will work , tailshaft with a thicker heavier wall tube

A mate had a VB 4.2L 4SP and put a worked 5.0L in it and had to go for the T400 auto because he found out that the bugger was a turbo bolt pattern block, so he got the tail shaft done for some reason and it was a thicker one piece, but the bugger would rub badly on the floor at times when he flattened it and it had stock height springs.
He should of just cut the original down and put the T400 yoke on it.

If the shaft is to weak, maybe go look for a VS commodore type and cut that to fit.
