wat garfa is trying 2 say is that they have such a bad name 4 themselves 4 the poor build quailty. this doesnt mean ur unit isnt the same as every single fauty unit out there but i 2 have boss gear being used else where atm thats lasted years but doesnt mean its not crap gear.

Come on garfa, did tou even read the post i clearly stated that:

The best way to pick a set of speakers is to head out to your nearest speialist car audio dealer, and audition the speakers on display. Dont ay so much atention to how they look or who they are made by (I will address this later) just listen to the music and compare the sets you test. It will soon be clear how different one set of speakers can sound entirely different to another set.

The list is a GUIDE nothing else. I wrote this only to help people out. I have stated that brand is not important and to listen to the speakers, so i dont understand what you are critisising???

I can honestly say that my Jaycar Response Precision kevlar 6.5" components are one of the nicest speakers I've ever heard, next to the old Alpine DDDrive splits. And for $149 rrp you can't go wrong. They MUST be amped though. HUs don't pump the juice out enough.

i did some research and the other night went and bought a pair of 6.5 fusion cm65 splits. i am running them off a 70x2 rms kenwood amp and they are absolutely awesum speakers. they go as loud as i want and are excellent quality.
