Hi :)

How long should these last? One only lasted 10,000km.

The three all came from the same supplier.

Previous ones lasted over 100,000km.

Would I be better taking it to the local Holden dealer rather than the local mechanic?

Cheers, Mike.

i would of thought anyone that works on cars can change a wheel bearing it's not that hard to change we've scabbed up wheel bearings for the dunger yard that have gone further than 10,000k's. The mechanic must be getting pissed at doing the same job for free twice the old wheel bearings used in HR to VP lasted alot closer to 250 000ks

The VS front bearing hubs were made in Italy and last forever!
Are you using cheap shitty ones or has your car been in an accident and wheel alignment is really bad?

How can it be wheel alignment?

It's either cheap ass wheel bearings, or the stub axle is bent.

It's a VS.

I'm thinking it's the supplier. All three came from the same supplier, one replaced a second time at 10K.

No accidents. They did machine the rotors when they first changed them, and since then I have over time developed extreme shaking in the steering and pedal while braking. Not sure if that's related.

Thanks for the advice :) I'll check out Bursons.
