Urgent: Need help to ID a part from the past.

Hello from Michigan, a State of Confusion in the USA. I am trying to ID a part that has no factory box, but it has a tag with the Ford Part # C6AZ-7143990-B. This part is NOS and appears to look look like a top latch, but in my research I have not been able to ID the part. I have looked through the 50's & 60's along with early 70's without finding it. Was wondering if anyone on this forum could help. I also searched for a forum in this country to use for the same purpose, but had no such luck. I hope the pic's uploaded ok. If not let me know as I will try again. I am a little new at this sort of stuff, but with your help I will stumble through.

Pic didn't work, but a quick Google search of the part number suggests it's a convertible top lock to suit a Galaxie. Hope that helps.

Yes, That one is my add on Ebay. The reason I want to know what it fits and where it goes. So I can accurately describe it. I relisted with a questions in it, but haven't gotten any replies yet.
