V8 conversion

Hi all
Is possible to convert a 99 VT v6 to a 304 turbo 700 r4 set up. I'm new to commodores usually play with the older stuff. If so can you buy a conversion kit. I have the loom for the 304.

Disregard just learned k frame is different.

There are heaps of differences when it comes to 5ltr vt.

If 304 setup is actually vn/p as you typed it up as th700 which has cable should be able tro sell that for more than what complete vt 304 is worth.

700r4 would work fine but speed sensor is the issue. Need to update to a 4l60e type sensor, and set to manual in the tune. Trans lines would be difficult too if going factory lines as they’re smaller on the th700, and are routed differently to a VT 4l60e.

As above, easier to buy the right trans. VS S3-VT 304 transmission required. This will give you the correct trans line fitting locations. Look out for the bolt on bellhousing and 6 bolt extension housing - this is the variant you need (make sure bolt pattern is correct, not LS or Ecotec).
