Guys if my vehicle is edited use a VCM tune and then I add a small cam shaft can the VCM edit be modified to the changes from the cam of does the vehicle have to have a complete re edit?

You would be better off going back to who did your last tune & get them to optimize it again for the new cam. Fuel trims can take up some of the differences with the new cam to stop it from going too rich or lean but there could be some idle/surging issues or just general drivability. The main reason you go back to the previous tuner is he will already be licensed for your PCM & this should take some of the cost away. If the previous tuner has locked the tune it also makes it hard for the next guy to get access to the PCM.
