Mounted a camera in my 2006 VE SSV A6 stock standard (dyno 207.5rwkw) and best, yet consistent, 0-100kph was 5.7s. Other times were...

0-120kph 7.5s
0-140kph 9.4s
0-160kph 11.6s
0-170kph 13.0s

Then I got OTR Air Intake and performance tune resulting in 243.6rwkw and even with an extra 40kg of petrol compared to stock test above the times changed to...

0-100kph 4.9s (best but average over 10+ runs is now 5.2s)
0-120kph 7.0s
0-140kph 8.9s
0-160kph 10.9s
0-180kph 14.0s
0-200kph 17.6s
0-230kph 23.0s

Conditions didn't allow me to test it any faster but it was still accelerating quite well for the relatively low 243.6rwkw in a heavy car.

Next week it is getting 1 3/4 Difillipo headers, full 2.5" difillipo exhaust, 233/238 0.612/0.604 113LSA cam, valve springs, 25% UD Pulley and professional port and polish of the heads. The shop doing the work give prety conservative rwkw figures but still expect 330+rwkw from this work. Pretty excited to test performance once completed!

All testing done in private, controlled environment.

Anyway, nice work mate. Its good to see progress results.
Any chance of posting the vids of the 0 -100 times/results?
Was there any stall or wheel spin?

for comparisons sake do you have any values for the VZs

Old post but anyway,

I put my VZ SV8 on a weighbridge and it dialed up 1680kgs with about half a tank.

sporty custom, no it's not fast but it's good to share what mods we've done and what results are... picking up the extra performance compared to stock is a good result.

ssv, here's a vid of 5.2s to 100, I've tried a lot of launch options and best is really just to stab it from idle (about halfway for the first 1/3 of a second to reduce wheelspin then squeeze it to the floor) with ESP on. You get a little bit of wheel spin but it's better than the other 3 options; launching at 1,800rpm with and without ESP and stabbing it from stop without ESP. All 3 of these less effective options get too much wheelspin,

I am running 245/35/20s with near new tread too. These will obviously be fairly useless once the next round of mods are complete!
