I'm assuming the next model will be the VF. If you were responsible for the external styling of the next model, what would you change from VE to VF?

I'd change the headlights a little and most certainly would perform a major change on the interior. Not only would I add a bunch of eye candy to the internals of the Calais, I'd move the LCD screen and climate controls up higher in the dash because the look way to low-key down where they are, almost hidden.

I'd also remove the external antenna and make it a glass one.

Also, some more colours to choose from that aren't gimmicky and odd.

Coupe 60 was the VF front end, and probably the doors too

Agree on the front end but without that extra low part of the spoiler.

Not sure on the doors though - maybe the HSVs.

Rear tail lights will be from the Coupe60 too I think...

Just make it look prettier.

And for ****s sake HSV, make the cars look different.

The basic shape is a winner, but the lack of differentiation between the different levels leaves the upmarket Calais/Calais V looking little different from an Omega. The only real differences are the chrome strip at the top of the grille, the wheels, tail-lights and lower front valance with fog lamps. There's also a chrome strip along the sills on the V.

I reckon the front end needs a bit of dressing up, particularly in the dearer versions. A little more brightwork, perhaps a chromed grille surround and exclusive colours would help. Someone else has said to reduce the size of the front wheel arch flares and on the base models, I agree, because they only look good from head on or when approaching alongside from behind, when the arches are filled out with decent wheels and rubber.
