When i turn the car off and leave the key in the ignition, the car can sit there and do mini starts. so the car turns the starter for less than a second, but it never starts. It can do this e 3 to 5 times. The key is a new key that i had made about 1 year ago, new key and new programmed section

IF i leave the key in the ignition the care might do the mini starts at anytime.

Anyone experienced this or know what the issue is.

Probably a dodgy ignition switch in the barrel.

Definitely get that checked out as it can cause issues especially if it kills the engine while driving and you are not ready for it.
