I bought a Vintage trolley jack on the weekend and am looking to restore it and have it on display in my garage.

I was hoping that someone may have some idea on what brand it is and what colours it was when new? I've found photos of a APAC Mechanical Jack No. 247 that looks like mine but I'm not 100% sure it's the same.

Has anyone seen one of these before or have any info?

Looks cool mate, no idea about what sort of jack it is but it may be a truck one judging by the length of it.

The lines on the side look like the apac emblem and whats left of the paint on it looks the same as my oldmans old apac jack no 240 he bought in the early 60's.
After my oldman died I stupidly left it up with a car on it for 6 months and fucked it, I went and seen a bloke to rebuild it a few years after that he kept showing me new jacks for less than the price of looking at the old jack one day I might try get it going again.

I think you're right about it being an APAC Jack.

Jack No. 247 looks like the one I have. In two minds about restoring it or just cleaning it up and leaving it with the original patina
