Vl alternators

Gents,

After working through problem by problem with other issues I'm at the point now that I think my alternator isn't charging.

New Battery has under 11.5v no after running for 10 minutes. Assume it's the alternator.

Anyone have one locally in Sydney?

Do you have a multimeter?
Check voltage,
Crank to start and observe voltage drop and recovery upon starting.
See what running voltage is,
Does it increase with a raised idle speed (or slight throttle crack)?
