Vp Calais Auto missing 3rd and 4th

Gr8 site I must first say. Recently I purchased a 92 Vp Calais 278,778kms
on a trip up to eildon dam (Vic) I was travelling up the black spur ( I don't thrash it) and as the car went to change up to third it revved out NO THIRD what the!!!! well I turned around and came home only had 1st and 2nd I'm going to book it in for repairs but does anyone have any ideas pls help :bang:

Had the same thing happen to my 89 Lexcen..........new gearbox. I had stripped a cog of some sort. It was all fixed in a day.

You need a reco or change over gearbox which can cost around 1.5-2k.

changeover was $1300. I could of had him rebuild for $1220 and a couple of days
