VP IRS strong enough for LS2 swap?

I love the style of the VP Supercars and I would love to build something capable of doing Hill climb events which means it has to be capable in the corners. I don’t want to use the standard live axle but I am aware of the problems with earlier IRS’s had. So would the VP SS/Calais IRS be strong enough for a stock LS2 / T56?

For a stock LS2 I think so. It's mentioned somewhere on this forum that a good way to strengthen the rear subframe is to drill a couple of holes in it and fill it with expanding foam.

LS2's are rare as they were only in hsv for a few years, u would be better off looking for LS3 or L98 as they are more setup for top end and many more around to find
