Hey guys!
My Auto VY Commodore V6 Ecotec Series 2 decided to not start. After some fiddling around we replaced:
- Crank angle sensor
- Cam angle sensor
And cleaned the dfi module plate as there was some corrosion.
Died again so we replaced:
- All coil packs
Started up. All was well for about 2 days, except it would sometimes stall when idling straight after starting up.
Decided to not start today.
Did some tinkering around. Made sure all visible sensors were connected correctly & cleaned.
Replaced the:
- DFI module (with a second hand that wasn’t a VY but same)
Didn’t start
- New ignition coils/leads
Didn’t start.
Put the old DFI module back in and didn’t start.
Haven’t scanned anything yet as I don’t have a scan tool.
Any help would be much appreciated.
