Hey all thought I'd post up my new weekender that I recently bought so here we go:

Name: Josh
Age: 20
Model: VY SS
Year: 2003
K's: 150,000
Price: $6000

Engine: 5.7L Gen III V8
Gearbox: 4sp Autotradgic
Power: 235kw
Exhaust: Mild Catback
Diff: LSD
Interior: Blue SS Leather
Brakes: Slotted rotors up front
Suspension: Lovell Superlows front and rear, Monroe GT shortened struts and shocks
Wheels: Bogan spec stockies

Future plans:
4/1 Headers, high flow cats, stainless twin system into two mufflers
VY Clubsport R8 wheels in black
Remove windscreen tint and get 20% (current stuff is coming off and looks greenish on the drivers side)
Raise rear a bit as I prefer a "rake" look and its a tad too low for me
Replace rotors and pads soon
New side SS badges (Done)
Tow bar Tongue(Done)
Remove side V8 badges(Done)
Get another spoiler
New fog lights(Ordered)
New o2 sensors, gets an engine light sometimes but mechanic said they should be replaced and it'll stop.
Customise grill, remove holden badge and cut out slats then have mesh behind.

This was just gonna be a summer car that I'd sell after but I may keep it depending if I need the coin or not. I am planning on moving out of home next year, I pay rent atm so Parents can't be too annoyed at my being here.
Picked it up from MT Gambier from a great family who had looked after it, was a fun road trip there and back in one day. Left at 6am and got back at 7pm. Got 10L per 100 on the way back which is amazing.

Going for a black and white theme

Looks killer Josh, I remember paying near 50k for a loaded VY SS Ute back in 2003, nice pickup.

Looks good , those guards make a difference . White with some black can just look so right . I do like the blue leather , I recon it makes a difference and works with it

Looks good bud! Wheels make a huge difference on the white.
