Got a bit more info:
The VZ Adventra will be released later this year (within the next couple of months).
Although it doesn't seem that far away, this is only with the V8.
Yes, we'll have to wait until next February until Holden configure CrossTrac to the new Alloytec. Hmmm.
Overall, pricing may go up by about $300-$600 (depending on model).
When released the CX8 would be approximately $49,290 (just a guess), and $57,290 for the LX8. So even though official pricing hasn't been released as yet, you can expect a CX8 to be anywhere from $43,000 up to $47,000... and probably the same price range with the LX6.
They really need to make a cheaper version, maybe based on the Acclaim or SV6... oooh 'SX6' (nice one!!!), just to compete with the Territory price range. If a top-of-the-range Territory Ghia costs $55k and when the Adventra first came out it was $61k for a smaller and less-practical car... hmmm. No wonder Adventra sales are 200/month while the Blue Oval Bandits are puting 10-times as many Territories on the road each month.
Please Holden, do something like the Territory. Base it on the Commodore but make it really practical and well-equipped!!! Try to avoid importing, too costly!
