haha serious? those gearboxes are not worth it as a paper weight!

I had my 4L60E built to handle 1000hp at the wheels. How is the box not worth it as a paperweight? Stock they are crap, but spend $2000 and you have a box that will handle 500-600hp at the wheels no problem.

4l65e? the stengthened boxes in the awd and ve commodores

actually the ls1 was fitted with the 4l60E up until about vy when the hsvs and tonners got the beefed up 4l65E which had the 5 pinion planetarys instead of the 4 pinion in the 4l60e as far as i unsderstand. :) Minux, has your senator sig got the m30 trans or the m32?

will the v8 gearbox fit on..or wats the best gear box that'll fit on with out ne problems..money aint really an issue

somethin different i guess.. commodoreuteboy is ur ute auto or manual? If its auto (4 spd) u should be ok to handle a fair bit, and its easy to have those boxes beefed up anyway :)

my box is rated 4L100E (1000 NM) goes perfect.
as for the original post single turbo is a lot if exhaust pluming,
twin turbo's are in use will find later
however check holden website for tt36 torana ---same setup:
they do have spec sheet.
