want more power in my vt v6

i know, i know. its only a six but is there anything i can do cheaply to get more power in my vt.... it only has 198xxx ks and a cat back 2.5 system... but i feel its not as gutsy as it was when i got it.. ive done plugs, leads, oil and filter plus fuel filter and pump.... i was able to take off from lights and put up a fight but now id probably get smashed by a 1.8l corolla haha... dont bother saying get an ls1, i want one but im only on green p's at the moment although i am 26 haha... so any advice would be good.... oh and i have a mate thats giving me an ss cia when i get to melb.. cheers guys

He wants more power, it's a V6, not much you can do without spending a lot. The best way to make it drive the way it did when he got it is to put the standard system back on. Acceleration will improve.

Every car does that. Had a skyline thought it was damn quick. Drove it a bit got used to it didn't feel as quick.

the exhaust was already on it when i got it.. it was loud as f**k too now its not... sorry to ask about trying to get more go out a v6, but we al cant drive an 8.. as soon as i get off p's ill definatly get one but for now im stuck with what ive got.
