Hey guys, looking to purchase about 10x portable HDD. Essentially I'm converting all the old family videos and want to distribute them on HDD to the family.

I'm happy with either USB 2 or 3. Although 3 would definetly make it quicker for myself... but not necessary once completed.

I'm thinking 500GB will suffice. I'm currently about 25% of the conversion and have about 56GB. So once I finish them all, allow for editing and add some extra room for later additions. I'm thinking that will be more than enough. I can probably even use 320GB. Just not certain yet.

I'm hoping to get the drives for under $60/piece for a total of $600 or less.

Anyone got any ideas or am I dreaming? I plan to call a few places that offer them close to that and ask what they can do on a bulk purchase.

Cpl we dealt with over the years, decent pricing but customer service is lacking. Used scorptec a few times with no issues
