I'd get the Manta over the Redback any day (if they were the only two to choose from).

if you want to spend money on the other hand go di fillipo. manta cat back is pretty loud and sounds good. but now i have a full system it sounds way better. my cat back was brand spanker for $1000, straight through centre and rear muffler, louder in the car but not as loud for the coppaz to hear it.. unless you always give it **** like me. di fillipo would be more. depends what you wanna spend. your quote for $650 aint bad. i had to pay freight and for modification. i think thats why i paid so much

Yeah i reckon the manta system is the one for me guys and i suppose at a later date i can get the highflow cats and pacemaker extractors fitted too :)

note: mine iz an alloytec VZ, but mine looks more like the top picture?...
Is it just a HSV thing?

No except for the HSV Z's all the rest have the sameY shape starting point and flange size for cat backs.
So any HSV VT2-VY2 catback will fit any holden VT2 onwards V6 0r V8.

Yeah the 2 i may go fro are either hotdogs in the middle and then a rear muffler or middle mufflers and then straight thru i dont know which set up is better though??

the straight through pipes might drone but and will be louder the hotdogs with reso wont drine have a great note but will be quieter
