Hey guys I have just slightly modded my exhaust by placing 4x Small washers in between the mid section and the rear mufflers to produces a deeper note

I was wanting to know if this is safe and I won't wreck anything by having the exhaust heat ruin any parts under the car

I have included pictures

I would be concerned about carbon monoxide fumes entering the cabin, odourless and lethal, on a long trip you may just nod off, people have died from having holes in the exhaust and finding their way into the cabin.

Correct! its illegal to have a vented exhaust anywhere under the body of your car for the above reason.......

Probably would get a better noise getting a good stereo recording a V8 Supercar hot lap and play that on loop as you drive

You might want to invest in a gas mask , because you are going to need one with the exhaust gases coming into the car .

same goes for a 3" exhaust and 100 cell cats while sitting at the lights etc.

 If we see someone grinning inanely while sitting at the lights , we'll know why , why would you have a gap in your exhaust , that would be defected even before he gets to the end of his street .

I hear stage 2 mod, drilling 4 holes in the mufflers will give a nicer crispy note to the fart like sound.

Stage 3 is a tunable russian sports tip.

Got a mate that's a mechanic and he thought of it

Sounds exactly like my Xforce 2.5 Cat back on my older ute

Allot of people have thought of it. People have been doing it for years.

Second part I do believe lol.
