    Hey Bart.
Yes I'm making high performance mounts for the V6 with reduced movement.
Only just finished testing and it will be a few weeks before we have stock available.
Is this for a road car or race car?
Are you looking for maximum rigidity and not concerned about vibration? or just something better than stock for a quick road car?

    sounds interesting, keep me updated
might go for something better than stock but still rides nice.

Vibrations, a problem? i've got a s1 with no balance shaft that hasn't been balanced. vibrations, not a problem

it's for a street car that will see some track work (one day) with a decent hit of giggle gas

If you could put up some pics that would be excellent i'm re-locating my alternator to the same location as AC pump normally sits and i'm keen to see how things will fit with your mounts in place

Heres a shot of an early version.
They are slightly lower than a new set of factory ones (which sag a lot with age) and overall size is a little smaller too.

Looks good and simple. you have retained the original engine mount to block bracket so that makes it simple for me (for my alternator mount). i though that you had possibly incorporated the alloy bracket into the top half of the mount. i'll assume that you have some sort of urethane type bush inside

will make lifting a engine out on a regular basis easier too

It's actually a rubber bush but urethane is also available in that size.
Aiming at having them available at $120 each + GST

i'd probably prefer with urethane but this sounds like a good deal to me

there are also plenty of guys on that other commodore site looking for decent V6 mounts so there should be plenty of takers there mate

Don't forget that urethane is less forgiving then rubber and thus will transmit more vibrations. Not really something you would want in a street car..

No worries. I reckon there will be a surprising amount of demand for these - especially given how much of a turd the factory style ones are to change...

Hahaha yeah you're right about them being a turd.....try doing it over and over and over again with a 2" intercooler fitted.

    Default Now in stock

    Hey guys.
Mounts are now in stock and available.
They are a little lower than a standard new mount about 5mm, and about the same installed height as an older standard mount.
We are recommending one TTT mount only on the passenger side if you want to maintain a smooth ride and stop the engine from lifting up too much under load, and one standard "mushmount" on the drivers side to absorb all the vibrations the V6's have just off idle.
They have a 52mm dia bush which uses a 13mm thru bolt so theres about 15mm of rubber thickness all the way round, enough to allow some movement but not too much.
price is $152ea but forum members will get them at $120ea + GST....$132
I can allocate discount vouchers to those wanting to order on line, otherwise PM, call or e-mail me.
    Cheers.
    Mark.
