I wanted to do a DIY install of a otrcai (second hand alloy Marranos ) and a mafless tuned computer on my VZ ls1. Installing computer and cai was so easy until I hit snags and need a few questions answered and a few tips on somethings. Firstly what is the small diameter pipe coming from the rocker cover area on the left hand side(facing motor) that goes into the standard intake pipe near throttle body and that I do not have a connection for it on the alloy cai. Secondly, how do I identify the IAT to extend this sensor out past the radiator, and the connector wire fitting that plugs into the maf(is it) has a 4 pin plug and the plug receptor on the cai is only a 2 pin one. IS the VZ cai different to a VY 2 which my second hand cai came from .I need help with ideas on my alloy cai and what are the pipe and plug receptors on the vz. I thought it would be more staight forward as I was under the impression a VY2 cai would be no problem to fit on a VZ. Thank you.
