    Question VT V6, Not Getting Wheel Spin!. . Help ? ? ?

    Hey guys,

Tonight on my bitchimen road, put car in first, reved up around the 5RPMS dropped clutch, and revs went up around 6's, then into 2nd and around 6's again, all the way up to forth, and clutch was take all way out after gear change, foot flat to floor though, and NO WHEEL SPINS AT ALL!!!. . .

Thought it may have been traction control, but fairly sure manauls don't have it.

Its just a standard V6 3.8L. My mate has VU Ute, so near the same, and his does them (Even on Gas).

    Please help.

    Thanks

you said you made it through till 4th and the wheels wernt spinning at all

the problem is your clutch was slipping simple as that

there is no other part that can stop drive to the wheels

traction control only causes the motor to missfire it will NOT stop the wheels spinning.

to avoid it happening again get a HD clutch

I've got an answer for you, stop trying to do burnouts you moron.

Ahh I feel better now. The only acceptable wheel-spin in my book is the one to heat your tyres up before the 1/4 mile. Accidental one acceptable if you back off straight away and learn your lesson.

Well if its on your own property and your not a danger/nuisence to others than go for gold. Sorry about the assumption but most people don't do this on their own property.
