i have a 04 sv6 vz and i cant afford any kinda supercharger or even a cat back exhaust.
so do all the little things like spark plugs, leads, air filter, the more expensive oil and petrol really make a difference in the cars performance? and is there anything else i could do without burning a hole in my very empty pokets?
Depends on the condition of your car and if your servicing is up to date. You are definately not going to do any harm servicing your car, and in some circumstances you will find a difference and in others you may not notice anything. Don't expect a handful of horsepower just from servicing though unless your car has been very neglected.
Have you searched this site at all? Or did you sign up and post immediately?
There is heaps of information on the forum already!
Welcome....but my advice to you is to search and navigate around the forum before posting!
yeah just signed up.
ill have a look around, thnx buddy.
I'm a total believer in the everything add's up theory. If it's only worth .1 of a hp but I can find 10 things that are worth .1 then I'm there
yeah well i guess it couldent hurt.
i noticed a power increase in using 10-40W full synth oil, as opposed to 15-50 mineral in a particular japanese import that most people on this forum hate (cos' it won bathurst and got banned).
other than that you should be checking/changing all those things anyways, whether you get ponies or not.
