Thumbs up Tune for more boost on an L67?

Just wondering if anyone has decided not to tune there cars after getting 10-11 psi boost upgrades on their L67's ? Or if anyone that has had the tune done noticed a massive improvement ?
I've read you can go comfortably without the tune, but just wondering if the power gains would be worth it.

    Cheers

I would think it would be safer to get it tuned. Just to make sure A/F ratio's ect are spot on.

The computer is super adaptive itll deal fine as long as you run premium fuel, (which you should anyway) it not itll feel like an absolute slug, youll most likely feel flat spots from around 4g upwards where it starts to ping and the computer winds the timing back for a few seconds

Yes there will be a gain from a tune, youd make a gain without even doing the boost upgrade but neccessary, no

Theres no reason you cant run more boost without a cooler,

iv seen a few running from 11.5-14psi non cooled, no issues

on the l67torque forum i have read a colum that i think fit did a test with a standard car with 8,9,10,11 and 12psi pulleys on it and did consecutive dyno runs untuned and same day.
At 10 psi the car produced its peak power but at 11 and 12psi it lost power because the intake temp was to hot and the ecu pulled a bit of timing to compensate which in turn lost power. Also the extra heat could cause detination which aint gd by any means.
Also with more than 10psi i would recomend a gd ol tune by someone who knows wat they are doing. I have had a VERY bad experience with a shop up north who dont know how to tune shit on a stick. ( I lost $1500), so do your homework on tuner first!!
