    Default vn v8 dyno run

    hey guys im putting my vn 304 5speed on the dyno on wednesday 20.01.2010 will update you with standard memcal specs, then i will add greenfoams tune then redyno her then update specs.

    mods already done to my vn are:

    cold air induction with k&n filter
    bosch super4 plugs
    8mm top gun leads
    extractors into single 3inch mandrel bent pipe work, with 3inch hiflow cat and a single 3inch hand made muffler

    been told she has had heads worked by the guy who owned it be4 me but as i have a hand injury i havent been able to take rocker covers off to check.

    Just make sure your base timing is at the correct +10 in diagnostic mode otherwise my tunes timing will be out of whack

    greenfoam do you know where the bolt is on the disy? coz i cant see coz there not much room mate

    Don't worry about the bolt yet, chances are the timing is right, most of them are.

    But if you check it and it is wrong then the bolt is behind the dizzy and a little bit toward the drivers side of the car

    i think i found it mate is it on the back side of the disy, between the fire wall and the disy?

    good luck with that bolt. they are fun 14mm and pure joy all the way. i dont know about VN's but the VK is one of those, move the bolt 0.5mm... take spanner off... flip it other way.... move bolt 0.5mm... flip it other way... and repeat 25 times.

    lol... or heat up your favorite spanner, and put a 90 degree bend in it about 10mm from the ring.... Undo it from above :-)

    lol, i cut mine in half. it rides in my glove box at ALL times, unless i need it, then it will be somewhere else
