Hi Guys,

Really hoping someone can help me. Im just about to change out the motor in my Patrol from a stock VP 5.0 to a Mild VR 5.0. I would really like to take this opportunity to run a later memcal if possible, so I can hopefully gain a more stable idle, less surging at low revs, plus if possible the "lean burn" facility to save some fuel..and of course a better matched tune to the mild motor.

After doing a some searches there were a few names thrown around, but couldn't really gain much insight on who could possibly do this for me.

I found "Blackstar" on ebay, but would rather deal with someone well known to this forum if possible. (Unless of course blackstar is, in that case all good)

Basic engine specs for new motor are

Crow Cam 4631
Flat top pistons (40 thou over I think)
Ported and flowed heads (Bench tested)
Roll master timing cog and chain ??? (Ive been told this has been set to stock)
Flat top hypertec ?? Pistons

Can supply better info if needed.
