apart from the obvious all parts changed are fitted correctly i take it the problem was there before parts changed?

have u looked at the fuel system at all, been an ss i take its got the two fuel pump in the rear internal n external make sure both are pumping fuel, check fuel filter and also pull the rail off n check the bottom of the injectors i had a vq stato that was similar but i could get it to rev to a certain point 1800rpm no higher even with foot flat turned out most/all of my injectors where clogged with shit

engine light on? diagnose the code then.....

if idles ok (all cylinders the same when unplugging injectors to test for misfire, revs drop when unplugged on a good cylinder)
    then map sensor...............and likely code

if not a MAJOR intake leak or a misfire (bad multiple cylinders) and no engine light on
need to check fuel pressure angainst specification which i dont remember off the top of my head....

finally if none of the above check compression pressure on each cylinder dry and wet at the temp that the fault is happening (cold or hot etc)
dodgy backyard check for minor split(seperated) head gasket leaking into cylinder drain coolant and start car if idles correctly coolant entering combustion chamber.....

and finally although unlikely multiple leaking injectors OR crank sensor incorrect signal (timing out)

with the injectors i just soaked mine in some petrol for alittle while to dislodge what i could then used a carby cleaner to squirt to remove the rest, but i dont think it costs too much to get them recoed at a shop also check ebay can pick up some cheap new ones
