For the last week my vk 186 has been running rough ,the carby spilling petrol out and being a right cu#$%.
It all started when i was at my mates house ,who has a v8 xa.Looking around i spoted
2 strongburg carbs off of the 6cyl xa motor asked my mate if i could have them and that day i was the owner of two new carbs.

any who i tried to fit one onto my 186 (has 202 head) but the are positioned on the
wrong angle. even tried to fit it onto the holden base but the xa one is to big.any way i ended up using the holden spacer off the carb and the holden base that connects carb to manifold. also were the throttle bodie pushes up the metal square thing that pumps fuel into carby has to be swaped with the xa one and a bit of wire going from the throttle bodie to square thing lol sorry abit complecated and i cant spell!!! will post pics later
