Greenfoam tune?

Tried PMing greenfoam but his inbox is full, so copying it to a thread instead.

Gday, I know you're a busy man but was talking to a mate the other day and he mentioned getting a new memcal for his VR ute, and then I had a flashback of these forums a few years ago and remembered everyone going on about the greenfoam tunes in their VNs and such. This got me wondering, do you do the same thing for VS ecotecs? If so, how much would you charge for one, and what exactly does it do? Cheers.

Yeah I just got a tune from him but no answers to questions in regards to same, I hope he is ok as I know he wasn't well a few years back.

I have had a tune for my VT (ecotec) done by him some time ago and want a new one done up, I have contacted him a number of times on eBay over the past few months to get no reply!
I'm very disappointed that he has not even replied, as I want to give him money to tune my car again because he did such a great job last time.

For my old vs v6 i used delco and he did a great job with the tune, i highly recommend him

The thing to do with Greeny is to buy the memcal off ebay. That way it is a contract on both ends. If he doesn't come through then you can neg rep him which I don't see happening. That's the way he told me to do it.

I think what happened was he was getting far too much flac on forums from people being unrealistic.. I believe he was being pumped for memcals left right and centre, so he backed out of the whole lot, and only deals Ebay now..

It's a ####en shame, but I understand exactly whrer he's coming from

it's unfortunate he's not around here anymore, shared what he knew, helped me somewhat get started ages ago and im sure a few others. Have talked to him in the last few weeks, he's still doing ebay tunes now and again, just have to wait for one and grab it.

i just e-mailed him on ebay for mine for my old 5 litre etc 3in exhuast, factory extractors, 70mm tb cai etc etc he got back to me straight away. It went better but pinged a bit on unleaded so id reccomend premium fuel use only

He has sold a few in the past months - monitor his ebay account daily for when he lists a tune.

Goodluck getting hold of foamy, I pm'd him over ebay about a month ago to try and get a newer tune (still running one he done when he was pretty new to tuning) and didn't reply. I'm assuming his busy... But if you can get a tune, worth every cent

Dont think he has 24/7 internet anymore. Could be wrong but when I spoke with him in Dec 2010 he aluded to this situation

Delcowiz on this forum may be able help you with a 2 bar tune - or know someone that does.
