Default Gearbox tuning: boosting line pressures

Hey guys im not happy with the shifts with my built and shift kitted 4L60E,
has anyone here had it done? how much did you pay is the main thing im looking at because im not sure what places will charge me for it,
i want to keep the pressures how they are when the power button is off but with power on have the higher pressures
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!

Walesy you better confer with your trans builder on this one. Trans guys all set up their line pressure differently and there is more than one way to skin a cat. Chances are if you play with line pressures in the tune it could have an adverse effect on line pressures. i.e.:fixed line pressure in the box with PCM trying to raise the line pressure through an orifice that won't allow it = extra heat and possibility of shock to components on apply and release.

When you build a trans there is a trade off of strength vs comfort usually

I had my Auto shifts hardened through the tune and then I recently had a Corvette Servo, Boost valve & pressure regulator spring done at sureshift in brissy

now chirps 1st-2nd its great and fairly cheap too
