Why not retune the Delco PCM? Im assuming your vt is otherwise pretty stock? What do you actually aim to achieve with an aftermarket engine management system?

I only now am looking at an aftermarket ECU (like Haltech etc) as I may be doing more than what i already have (Stage II cam, CAI, leads, throttle body, spacers, exhaust, extractors etc)..
I wouldn't be looking at a new one, and they're not "plug and play" unless you're talking about a memcal! Which is completely different and interchangeable. PM Delcowizard on here (i think i got his name right) or if Greenfoam is still around get him. They do them up to the VX model as VY's had built in memcals.
*Note i don't know too much about computers, but i'm pretty sure the memcal isn't the same as an ECU lol)
plenty of ppl out there that can retune the quite capable gm ecu, no need to spend big bucks on an after market, memcal is one thing the newer ones are simply plug a computer into the ecu and reprogram it(if you know what you're doing)... no swapping memcals, all onboard in flashrom
