I had a very bad misfire on my car 10 days ago.
It misfire on starting and it takes a couple of kilometres for the misfire to go away.
Rather than looking for the problem
I bought a new set of spark plugs and a new set of leads.
It worked for a week
And today it was back... just as bad as ever.
Anyone knows what I should be checking?

Hi mate double check the spark plugs again and see if they are good cause I had the same prob. I started getting a misfire then mechanic changed spark and leads a week later misfire again. I took it to a mechanic that works on my kind of car and I had to change all the plugs cause the mechanic over tightened all of them and the snapped. Hopefully it's something like that cause it's a quick cheap fix. If not maybe coil pack but I wouldn't think so
Coil pack or (less likely) moisture on the module (the plate the coil pack mounts on), if the misfire tends to clear after the engine warms it usually points toward a moisture issue but in my experience it is most likely a faulty coil pack segment!

yep as above.
Just replaced DFI module, coil packs, leads on girlfriend`s car (same as mine) running like a new car.
All the parts were old and faulty.

Just saw a second hand coil pack on Ebay for $95
What's the price of a brand new one?
