HI guys not sure if this is the right area to post this....
But basically im getting my car dyno'd next month and just wondering what figures id be expecting.
Details:
5.7L LS1 Vz ss 6 sp man.
Otr/mafless tune
1/4 extractors
2.5" full exhaust system (i think)
Basically stage 1 mods, any one else done similar mods and can give a rough idea what id be expecting on the dyno?
Cheers!
mine has 240rwkw and has magnaflow 100 cell high flow cats
and has mafless tune and otr pacemakers headers, 2 3/4 stainless steel exhaust
190 - 210 RWKW IMO.
Reaper
I'd say around the 220-240rwkw depending on the exhaust and tune.
there abouts of 205rwk give or take a cpl
Cheers guys, i should make somewhere between 220-240rwkw.. hopefully![]()
Dyno figures are only a number that can be fudged easily, mph at the drag strip is the best way to measure power.
Well it really depends man, depends on the tune, exhaust, cats, is your otr alloy?
Roughly id expect about 230 - 235 rwkw.. Let us know how you go
My VY SS with the same mods made 233 rwkw
yeah im with rathy theres only one real measuring stick .and thats the drag strip 220 230 240 wots it mater soon get ya arse handed to ya by a guy making 200 kw if hes getting it to the ground and you aint.
What??? The point of the comment regarding a dyno being only a number and the strip being the real judge, is the fact that the strip takes into account all the things you just mentioned. Just like the bloke above said, who cares if your pushing 240kw if the bloke next to you is getting his 200kw to the ground and your not. An engine dyno removes even more factors than the chassis dyno, which in my opinion, makes the information even less useful.
