Hi guys i have a 93 v6 VR and i have been waiting to do it up for a while, i was just wondering if i should bother getting the engine and trans reconditioned and tuned after i am to put
Extractors with full 2,1/2" sports exhaust (definantly needed as original is like the moons surface with ALOT of big holes)
1.7 ratio roller rockers
stage 2 shift kit
corvette servo.
as well as
VT brake upgrade
monroe GT sports lowered struts
superlow king springs.
the car isnt that bad at all and i picked it up for $1000 with a blue/purple paint job
apart from the dodgy crank sensor (fixing on wednesday)
with all these parts on it would it need a tune and would it be a respectable VR on adelaide roads ;P
the pic is of a VR that looks ALMOST identical to mine but mine is superlow and stock body (no kit)

I would get the trans done if your putting a kit in it, but the motor depends on how many km's its done really.

yeh it's done it's fair share of 288,000kms and i was planning on getting the trans serviced and bands tightend while the mechanic puts the kit in.
i just dont really want to have to spent $2200 on another engine just yet.

hmmm K's are pretty high, IMO I would just leave it. It doesnt look like your doing anything too crazy, although I dont know how much more stress roller rocker are going to put on the engine. it might pay to find out.
