    I did when I changed mine on my VS, better to be safe than sorry, especially when dealing with electrical gear.

    i just did mine on my VS took about ten minutes to do all i had to do was remove the kick panel and remove the to screw's take the old chip out and put the new one in no need to remove wires and all that crap for me LOL

    Yeh i just did mine on a VS ute, kick panel and 2 screws is all it takes after the battery is disconnected. Cheers for the write up boys.

    go to your local bunnings and ask them for a torque bit se cost ya about $20 bucks if not just buy the single bit itself i think its called a t22 torque bit,

    delcowizard, could i possibly get a tuned chip from you, i have 99 vt v6, stage 2 crow cam re-cond heads with new springs/valves, wildcat extractors with 2.5 manta kit from cat back and custom cai ( installed k&n pod filter in standard air box with stock induction otr, i was given a performance chip with cam as package and ever since fittment its running lean and alittle off i guess if so can you pm me a quote thanks
