    Talking About transform VT 3.8 V6 in a VT 5.7 V8

Hi there! I live here in Brazil, and I have a Holden Commodore VT Engine: 6 cyl who here it is call Omega Australiano, I would like to know what I have to do to transform my car in a Commodore VT V8 5.7, if you don't know could you please show me someone who knows, I need guidance on the subject. Here in Brazil we don't have any model V8. If someone knows who can send parts to here, please send me the email.

The engine is a LS1 its a chevy engine you should be able to order crate motors from the states,
but i imagine if its a vt then it would be easier certainly not cheaper to order cross member and all the other associated parts from Australia. Ask the guys in the v8 section about what you will need for the conversion

Turbocharge it. I think it will be much cheaper and the 3.8 takes very well to turbos, research the Buick Grand National these things were so quick they showed up the Corvette of the time and GM canned them

Ok guys, I'm giving up the v8, but I still need help to make change to the turbo charge, and if you knows someone there that can send parts to Brazil, show me please.

There are a couple of places you can get the manifolds

here is an ebay link Holden V6 Ecotec Turbo manifolds VS VT VX VY - eBay Air Filters, Induction Kits, Performance Parts, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 19-Oct-09 23:35:31 AEDST)

These are log style and I was thinking of using them for my twincharged project, when I eventually get it going

    Here is another Boost Obsession

Although if I were you I would check out your local exhaust shops and see if they can build you a set. You might find they are cheaper than the shipping

    Good luck keep us posted
