Hey Guys,
As the title suggests, I'd like to modify my Berlina to get a bit more out of it.
I have been reading through these forums and i'm impressed all the guys in here to seem to be so helpful and full of knowledge!!!
From what I have read, within my starting out budget of a total of $1000, i'd like to perhaps invest in a Cold Air Intake, Change the Air Meter and maybe Air Filter, and probably get extractors.
Then later get the rest of the Exhaust system done for a similar price again.
I have visited Sam's Performance and they won't work on my Ecotec 6, so I guess what i'd like to really know is: are there any places in the Western Suburbs (of Sydney) that will do this sort of work?
Or, should I save my money up for the VX/VY/VZ SS that I want to buy in about two or three years! :P
There would be heaps of places around that can change ur exhaust for u. For $1000 bucks that would be a good start, get some pacemaker headers (bout$550 fitted) and get a decent cat back exhaust (bout$250ish depending what brand) then id also ask the exhaust shop to cut the outlet of the cat to match up to the bigger rear exhaust (add another $20), and change to a KnN pod (easy swap over do iturself). If you do all that in 1 go then you will feel a BIG difference.
