if you would like some suggestions here are mine.

DONT put gauges on a stock car, or even a fast N/A car unless they serve a purpose.
the thing is people are most likely going to laugh at you when they see a monster tacho.

    mods to do would be

get a VS super 6 cold air intake. you can buy them from holden, there about 80 for the whole kit.

get a cat back exhaust, it gives a nice note, helps with fuel efficiency, and improves performance about 300 bucks press bent, or abour 500 mandrel (fitted)

extractors, the next thing to get after the cat back, this will open the car up heaps, youll get a good kick in the pants when you plant it. about 600 fitted

roller rockers: you can get some yella terra stealth roller rockers the ratio is 1.72 and they further increase the power and you get a smoother idle ( i find) i payed
    650 fitted

diff: youll prolly want to get a limited slip diff (which puts power to both wheels) the gear ratios youd be looking for would be 3.73 or 3.9. unless you do a lot of highway driving then youd want 3.45's

shift kit: you can get some good shift kits around the place, the most youll pay is about 600.

if you have a VP you can remove the bellmouth (its behind the engine ) it will give you a power gain. youll need to research this a little more because i dont know much about it (my Vn doesnt have one)

thats prolly about it with regard to power mods.

with the whole gauges thing, it makes me wonder, did you have an import before your commy? cause it seems that the amount of import drivers i see with those things in comparison with how many are actually running boost is phenomenal.

dont take that personally i just dont like mods for no reason.

    hope that helps.
