If you go back to basics, Nitrous is another form of forced induction, installing a better flowing exhaust system would be highly recommended

Tuning is a big key here.
Nitrous gets blamed for melting pistons too often, when in actual fact, its because there was too much timing or not enough fuel in it.

Remember, it is just like adding boost, fuel is what is making your power. Keep that in mind the whole way.

The standard internals should handle an easy 50-100hp worth of gas, once again, the tune is what will keep it alive.

There are a few blower kits to go on these with stock systems, so the fuel system will be right to a certain point, depends how much gas you want to run.
Very easy to keep going for more jet then all of a sudden you're up **** creek.
You should get it on a dyno and check out what your fuel system is doing.
Pump and injectors will be first on the list though.

If you decide to run a wet shot, then you may very well be able to keep your injectors and just upgrade your fuel pump, providing you're not using a seperate tank for fuel to inject with your gas.
