Vr manual Conversion ECU and wiring kit. IS IT LEGIT?

its just an auto ecu with the error codes turned off and a few bits of wire to get the speedo to go

used that kit when i did the 5 Speed conversion on my VR worked a treat. Had no problems runs awesome

What he's saying is its not that different from the current ECU you already have.. there's some diagrams here to show how to get the speedo to work (in how-to section) and all you need is someone with a chip burner (few guys on here) to do a tune with no auto error codes, i think that seller on ebay could even do the tune for you if you send him a spare memcal.. would save you buying a whole ECU.
