Hey Commodore Brother's Id just like to start by saying that in my local town,Commodore driver's have alot of respect an paitence's on the roads here for each other, just like to thank you all,it's good to see that ppl of the same intrest can get along insted of fight...,
But my questian is,Is there a diffrence between Manual Extractor's an Automatic ?? Plz tell me im bidding on some on ebay i have a auto V6 ecotech Vy 03 189Kw at the rear wheels atm. Thanks
I know Pacemaker extractors are for both auto and manual. But I don't think there is a difference.
Also if you don't mind me asking, what mods have you got to get 189rwkw?

also would like to know how u got that power
tuning done by THE1 A+++++ tuner
And powering it by MACE
Build it to handle the MANG
I dont know about the VY, but extractors in general, Auto extractors ends point torwards the back of the car and manual extractors ends point towards the tailshaft. If you try fitting manual extractors to a auto the pipes might hit the back of the pan. Most companys only sell auto extractors nowadays that i know of.
Mods to get 189kw@rw: Put dyno air temp sensor on exhaust manifolds.
/thread.
Hey aN thanks for your Input it has answerd my questian,an now im sad lol i wanted them extractors lol,But i gained my power out of a few diffrent way starting with the simple stuff K&N CIA kit Platnum iridium 4 burners Supercharge6 Coil packs with new top gun leads, memcal , 71mm throttlebody High preformace, superlow suspension most ppl dont know u get better off line speed with lowerd suspension an better fuel econ, an i had a small amout of head work done to her,re bore, pistions fuelump an lines an a crow cam Dyno 189.kw@rw @3.800rpm
^^ those figures don't add up! Where did you get the car dyno'd at??

Is that a fact , il get hold of the data sheet 4 u then,i dont have all the spec's on what has excactly been done but i have the dyno data sheet.
are you sure it wasn't engine KW?

What sort of power does it make at a higher RPM? KW's increase with engine revs (or at least I thought they did).
I'm not doubting that your car doesn't make that kind of power! But one thing I want to know is why you would do all the mods like head work and a cam plus more and not get the exhaust sorted?

yes that is correct it makes 189kw at the fly wheel sorry i typed in the wrong info an i have a 2 1/2 exhuast from the cat, this Car isnt Running at present, due to the fact i haven't been able to get hold of a decent set straggz in my area, but im excited to see how much power i will gain from fitting them, at the time of the dyno it only had quite a mild cam not so much to make a note but just a bit of extra boogy. but thanks for the info guys an keep the car's looking good an going even better
How do you get better offline speed and fuel ecconomy with lowered suspension? Better go tell and the guys run 9 and 10 second quarters on stock springs they are doing it wrong!
Selling FG G6E Turbo and buying a N/A Supra
That mod list....189rwkw at 3800rpm?

Anyway Thank you for answering my questian,i shall just go on building my B.S Car Good luck to al the haters
accuracy is key.
if you tell people you have a 180kw eco V6 people are going to ask what youv done to it. and the mods you have wouldnt add up to that amount of power (at the wheels).
my VR started with (CAI + Cat back) @ 105kw ATW. but i reckon it would probably have close to 150-170 ATW with a full rebuild and big spec internals. and that cost me alot of money to get there. so i hope you can now see why people questioned you. especially when you say you had that power @ 3800rpm. just doesnt add up mate. lesson learned hey?
