im no expert but i dont see how it could affect the car if it was running on gas... maybe if you were messing with the intake but its just your exhaust

The freer the flow of an exhaust for an LPG car the better. You will gain economy and a bit more bottom end by fitting an exhaust. Fitting extractors will help even more.

I can do extractors and a 2 1/2" cat back for $650 shipped. The only thing you re-use is the cat. It is all bolt on too, no welding so if you were handy you could fit it all yourself.

I have a catback on my vapour injected car at the moment and there aren't any problems at all. I get about 13L/100km's too so it's doing just fine... Will be hooking up some pacemaker extractors that I have when I get the time and as for a tune you definitely won't need one that's for sure!

Jeez that's a pretty good price abba, what sort of extractors and muffler does that come with? And I thought I was getting a good price when I paid $400 for my catback and $350 for my extractors... The extractors were off eBay but yea that seems like a great price you have going

The extractors are Wildcat, no welding required to fit as they have a slip join, and the system is Manta.

My missus is running a VN V6 dedicated LPG and we recently put a gas tune in it. Made a huge difference to the top end, pulls hard all the way to redline now, where as before it ran out of legs at around 3000 rpm accelerating like you were towing a 2T trailer. If possible, I would run a dual map on the memcal that switches when you switch fuel.

I'm actually after genie extractors... I have had genie extractor on my previous car and loved it.. But the only problem is there don't do it in the same primary flange size :-(

Okay, can you out a 1 1/2 primary glance to a 1 and 5/8 like the vn-vr extractor size?? And still have the 2" collector??

You don't need the larger primary size as the exhaust port isn't that big anyway. 1 1/2" primary on the VY is plenty big enough. The Ecotec extractors are tuned too so the larger pipe isn't necessary to make the gas fit through the collector.
