Is the Holden T5 shifter the same as ford?

Looking for a rip shifter for my T5. A mate has a ford 6 and he used a mustang rip shifter in his and he got it cheap as.

Are they the same as the commodore ones? Will the plate bolt up to the gearbox, or will it be different?

i think the ford shifters are in a different position. you would need to compare em side by side to be sure
