hey guys im looking at getting my heads touched up. i bought them already ported polished but never had them flow benched to see exactly what they were rated for.
what sort of cfm and hp can be acheived from the old cast heads. ive been told by they dont flow well at all just after some info and inside knowledge.
i had a set of ported heads on my old vn was powerslaves old motor i'll see i can find the flow charts for you. They were from a guy in qld got a website but cant remember what it is sometimes sells stuff on ebay

All head porters have different ways of porting and cfm flow numbers differ from every head thats been ported, best to have the cfm checked on a flowbench and the porter will know if he can make any improvements
my flow charts list before and after measured on same bench to give the improvements
Edit had a quick look found the dyno chart but not the flowcharts will have a look in garage later see if theyre in there

sweet ill try to find it. ive been told by the guys at sic six the furthest they have been able to take the heads is about 220cfm ? any one know if you can get better than this
im just waiting for my heads to be finished they are ripped out as far as possible before hitting water the ports look um big LOL
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

Do yourself a favor and take them to Peter at Horsepower Engineering at Capalaba. He did the heads on my 250rwhp n/a v6, has done heaps of rnd does speedway v6's. I was in the same boat as you bought some already done heads turns out they weren't so great but with a little work now flow 230cfm 355hp theoretical.
